Das Christentum ist von historischem Interesse - doch die Evangelien sind keine Geschichte, sondern eine literarische Fiktion.Die Romer bedienten sich des judischen Glaubens nach ihrem Sieg im Jahr 70 und untergruben die judischen Hoffnungen auf einen Messias als Befreier. Sie boten stattdessen einen Rom-treuen, steuerzahlenden und Obrigkeit anerkennenden Jesus. Ihr Jesus wurde zu einem scheiternden Erloser. Seine Mahnungen und Prophezeiungen wurden dazu einfach um biblische 40 Jahre zuruck in die Vergangenheit verlegt. Erloser sollte Titus in der Gestalt eines Christus werden.Zahlreiche Episoden der Evangelien sind dem historischen Kriegsgeschehen entlehnt und wurden zu Glaubensinhalten verfremdet. Die Juden sollten so ruhiggestellt und die Flavier als romische Kaiser legitimiert werden. Titus wurde als ein Christus aufgebaut, der in der Geschichte jedoch zunachst lediglich der Sohn des romischen Gott-Kaisers Vespasian war. Als er nach kurzer Herrschaft starb, ubernahmen Anhanger den Staatskult. Sein Nachfolger und Bruder Domitian zeigte kein Interesse am Verehrungskult seines Bruders. Unter Konstantin gelang nach rund 200 Jahren der Durchbruch. Er erntete, was die Flavier mit ihrer Religion gesaht hatten. Der einstige historische Hintergrund wurde vergessen, verdrangt und verschleiert.Das Christentum war schon im Ursprung ein Herrschaftsinstrument, aber es wurde in der Folge daruberhinaus noch missverstanden und nicht zuletzt missbraucht. Bis heute sichert es kirchlichen Einfluss, wirkt in staatliche Bereiche und bestimmt das Denken vieler Menschen.Die Spuren, Motive und Umstande werden aufgefuhrt, die diese These belegen. Eine besondere Rollen spielten dabei der zu den Romern ubergelaufene judische Historiker Flavius Josephus, Mitschreiber, sowie Vespasian als Vater, Titus als der Kaisersohn und spatere Herrscher Roms. Und so kann man heute nachvollziehen, wie dieser Glaube zur makabersten Tragodie des Abendlands werden konnte.
