Der alte Japaner, Dr. Samura, hat Philosophie studiert und weckt bei Jorgito die Aufmerksamkeit für die Weisheit, die Gedanken und Philosophie des Buddhismus. Weisheiten, die das Leben des armen Jungen immer begleiten. Der Verlust seiner Mutter, seines Vaters und Cousins treiben Jorgito in die Kriminalität und wie das Schicksal spielt, landet er in einem Kinderheim. Später erwacht seine große Liebe zu Nina und lässt ihn nicht mehr los. Es war eine Kinderliebe, die ewig bleibt. Der Wunsch anderen Menschen zu helfen, vor allem den Straßenkindern von Sao Paulo, die ein ähnliches Schicksal wie er haben, begleiten ihn stets. Durch seine späteren großen Erfolge kann er den Wunsch ein Kinderheim zu bauen verwirklichen. Dieses Domizil wird "Haus der Hoffnung" genannt. Bei Nina findet er die Geborgenheit, die er als Straßenkind und Drogenhändler immer suchte. Er hat gelernt: Nur die Liebe gibt die richtige Antwort auf alle Fragen der Welt. Nur die Liebe gibt dem Leben einen Sinn und zeigt, was das Leben wirklich bedeutet.
About the Author: Dirceu Braz, geboren am 10. November 1950 in Sao Paulo, Brasilien, stammt aus einer sehr einfachen Familie. Sein Drang nach Bildung und der Wunsch, eines Tages in Europa leben zu können, um sein Musikstudium fortzusetzen, führte ihn im Jahr 1973 nach Deutschland, wo er zuerst an der Musikhochschule Stuttgart studierte, und später in der Schweiz. Dort setzte er sein Studium am Züricher Konservatorium fort. Danach kam der junge Brasilianer zurück nach Deutschland und war 12 Jahre lang in Heidelberg als Dozent für das Fach Trompete tätig. Während dieser Zeit in Heidelberg ergab sich eine internationale Karriere als Trompetensolist, in der über 10 Tonträger entstanden sind. Dirceu Braz verfolgte seinen Traum, sich nicht nur als Musiker, sondern auch als Buchautor und Maler durchzusetzen, was ihm auch gelungen ist. Das vorliegende Buch "Jorgito" ist das siebte Werk, das in kurzer Zeit von ihm auf den Markt erschienen ist. Dennoch warten dutzende Bücher, die sich teils noch als Manuskripte im Regal befinden, gespannt darauf, publiziert zu werden, darunter viele Romane, Gedichte und Erzählungen, die entweder in seiner Muttersprache Portugiesisch oder auf Deutsch verfasst wurden.
