Where do you go to find answers to life and the questions that are whirling through your mind?
Most of us go to our parents, our friends or our spouses/significant others. What I have learned is that God is the only one that can bring healing to life and those whirling questions. Questions about our past or current situations will vary. There is only one sure way to get the answers to those questions, and that is to go to God through His word.
- Do not withdraw
- Do not ignore your feelings
- Be okay with your choices
- Be willing to fail and get back up
- Dig Deep
This is not a sprint. In any journey there are portions that may take longer than others. The more intentional you are in digging into God's word, the more He will reveal to you. When your soul is settled and you're ready move on to the next mile marker in your journey, then go with confidence.
This workbook contains:
- Mile Markers that include questions to help you pull out awareness' that lead to understanding
- Authors personal stories and examples of her process in the journey
- Coloring pages for a bit of fun through your journey
- Scriptures to read and reflect on
- Places for journaling and writing your own redemptive story
- Leaders guides for group settings
- Suggested books studies

As an individual, you can take your time and lean heavily into what the Holy Spirit is saying to you. Having others go on the journey with us can bring out insights. This workbook is set up with extra content if done in a group setting.
The Journey: Finding Healing through Scripture from Life's Hard Questions invites you to take an active role in your own healing journey. Rhonda Gould beautifully unfolds the truths of Scripture, through prayer, journaling, and our relationship with the Lord so we can find our way through the most difficult of circumstances. To heal from the pain of the past, we must be willing to deal with it head-on. This can be a scary thing at times, but not when we invite Jesus to be a part of the healing process.

From the Author:
If you are walking through this life, in the closet of darkness, my heart aches for you. If you feel alone, ashamed, guilt-ridden, if you cannot sleep or always sleep, if your mind never shuts off and you must stay constantly busy, or you are not motivated to move, I have been where you are. When you wake, what are your first thoughts? Our minds can be our worst enemies.
I have walked the journey that I've laid out in this workbook for you. And to be totally honest, I still have to walk the journey at times. Life is not a one and done process. The questions on my journey may not be the same but the process to get there is the same. Seeking the answers out through God's word, trusting that He will lead me to healing from whatever life is tossing my way.
