Brian had been raised by his father to always be prepared.His dad had taught him to think for himself, to work hard for the things he wanted, be fair and honest with others, not to trust the government and to always be prepared.The only question was, be prepared for what?Brian often felt that his dad and some of his dad's friends took things to the extreme.Some had prepared to survive a nuclear war, others prepared to defend themselves against the government, still others prepared to survive their own pet conspiracy theory or some unlikely apocalyptic event.Brian prided himself on being a realist.
