Länder - Zeitalter Weltkriege, Note: 1,3, Technische Universität Carolo-Wilhelmina zu Braunschweig, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die vorliegende Hausarbeit beschäftigt sich mit dem Justizmord an Francisco Ferrer Guardia im Jahr 1909. Die zentrale These der Hausarbeit ist, dass die Hin-richtung von Francisco Ferrer ein Justizmord und Revanche für Ferrers libertäre Escuela Moderna war. Zunächst wird daher das Leben Francisco Ferrers betrach-tet, da seine Escuela Moderna damit eng verknüpft ist, dies wird in einem Kapitel behandelt. Letztendlich wichtig für Ferrers Leben war auch die Reaktion der Kir-che und der konservativen Regierung auf seine Tätigkeit als Pädagoge. Im da-rauffolgenden Kapitel wird die Tragische Woche behandelt, da diese Anlass für die Hinrichtung Ferrers war. Es werden kurz die Hintergründe und der Verlauf dieser dargestellt. Joan Connelly Ullman hat in ihrer Publikation über die Tragi-sche Woche Hintergründe und den Verlauf der Tragischen Woche sehr detailliert dargestellt. So detailliert kann dies hier nicht beschrieben werden, da ansonsten der Rahmen der Hausarbeit überschritten werden würde. Das vierte Kapitel be-schäftigt sich mit dem Ferrer Prozess. Es wird dargestellt wie die Ankläger und Gutachter falsch aussagen und Zeugen, die Ferrer entlasten könnten, nicht ange-hört werden. Im vorletzten Kapitel geht es um die Konsequenzen, welche der Ferrer Prozess und die Tragische Woche für die spanische Politik hatten. Wegen des Umfangs einer detaillierten Beschreibung, wird auch dieser Teil kurz gehalten sein. Letztlich folgt ein Fazit. Einen guten Überblick über die spanische Geschich-te von der Reconquista bis heute liefert Walther L. Bernecker in seinem Werk "Spanische Geschichte". Murray Bookchin hat ein sehr gutes Buch über den spa-nischen Anarchismus zwischen 1868 und 1936 verfasst, hier wird u.a. die Tragi-sche Woche und die Escuela Moderna gut beschrieben. Zu guter Letz
