Jahrhunderts, Note: 1,3, FernUniversität Hagen (Lehrgebiet Philosophie II), Veranstaltung: Einführung in die Praktische Philosophie, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die Arbeit zeichnet Kants Bestimmung eines reflexiv gewonnenen Würdebegriffs aus dem Prinzip der Autonomie nach. In einem ersten Teil geht es also darum, Aufgabe, Aufbau und Methode der GMS in ihren Grundzügen zu erläutern und die ethischen Grundbegriffe Kants mit Blick auf ihre Bedeutung für die Genese seines Würdebegriffs zu untersuchen. In einem zweiten Schritt kann dann auf Kants Begründung der Würde des Menschen durch sein Konzept der sittlichen Autonomie näher eingegangen werden. Kants Postulat der vernünftigen Natur des Menschen als existierendem Zweck an sich und dem sich daraus ergebendem absoluten Wert des Menschen steht in dieser Analyse freilich im Mittelpunkt. Immanuel Kant (1724-1804) veröffentlichte 1785 mit der "Grundlegung zur Metaphysik der Sitten" (GMS) sein erstes moralphilosophisches Hauptwerk, das die Vorarbeit für die nachfolgende Kritik der praktischen Vernunft (1788) und Metaphysik der Sitten (1797) darstellt. Mit der GMS tritt in Kants Schriften erstmals der Begriff der Würde des Menschen in Erscheinung. Die Leistung Kants mit Blick auf den Würdebegriff in der GMS besteht nicht in der Neuschöpfung, schließlich ist der Gedanke der Würde des Menschen bereits seit der Antike Gegenstand der Philosophie. Bedeutsam ist vielmehr Kants genuin neuzeitliche Bestimmung des Würdebegriffs, den er aus der Autonomie, als das die Praxis freiheitlicher Vernunftwesen vorrangig bestimmende Prinzip, ableitet. Die Arbeiten von Dieter Schönecker und Allen W. Wood erweisen sich für eine derartige Analyse als ausgesprochen hilfreich. Mit ihnen lässt sich zeigen, dass sich der Mensch nach Kant aufgrund seiner Vernunft und seines freien Willens als Intelligenz beziehungsweise Glied der Verstandeswelt (homo noumenon) b
