About the Book

Changeling: (Fantasy) In the woods of an old ruined city lies a secret that one teenage girl is about to unravel. Covered in strange black markings, Amelia feels like she is being called into the old city of her ancestors. Rumor has it a formidable witch lives within the derelict place, but Amelia won't let that stop her from finding out the truth and finding out who she is. Changeling is a 'coming of age'/ 'Coming into power' story, which requires Amelia to channel all her strength and courage. Run, boy, Run: (Fairy tale retelling) A fractured retelling of the fairy tale - Hansel and Gretel. What happens when two lost children - two lost souls - grow up? They hunt each other down, of course. One Last Dance: (Steampunk) For seventy years Catarina Bamforth has harboured more guilt than any person should ever have to live with. It is time for her to finally let that guilt go. When Catarina was 24, she was the most elite entertainer the world had ever seen. But she harboured more than one secret. She was also an inventor. And inventor with hopes and dreams bigger than any anyone had ever known. It's on the day that she reveals these secrets, at a ball held in her honour, that Lucas - a cruel and unlikable man - sees her for what she is, and begins to despise the woman who dares to show him up. Join Catarina as she remembers the day that changed her life forever in the short story One Last Dance. Curse of the Witch: (Fairy tale retelling) A fractured retelling of the fairytale - Jorinda and Joringel. When this fairytale ends for Jorinda and Joringel, life is only just beginning for the witch. Remembers as cold and callous, see the softer side to the evil witch from this beloved fairytale, in this fractured retelling. The Cure: (Post-Apocalyptic) The world's downfall started with the birds. What would you do if all of the birds in the world began to kill each other? My suggestion? Run! Murder Upon the Last Airship: (Steampunk) Captain Jones is the Captain of the last airship in existence. Times are tough and only the richest the poor being shipped to new lands by the government can board The Pegasus in such trying times. As such, murder upon the airship is not uncommon, though Captain Jones does a good job of keeping his passengers content. Murder is usually the doing of the poor wanting to gain some of the splendor of the rich. Not on this journey though. On this journey, only the elite and highest in stature are aboard, and yet Mr Jameson Crudley is found with a single small stab wound in his neck. Upon his friend's body, Captain Jones finds a gold medallion and is told that this medallion is said to hold the power of life. But such things are reserved for fairy tales and fables right? Not aboard The Pegasus. Fatal Love: (Post-Apocalyptic) A new world? A new order. And new beings. The Voleran's and the Alkaran's have been at war for centuries. But love heals all wounds right? Wrong! Sometimes, love can be fatal. Population Zero: (Dystopic) The Earth fell, but it rose again. Though, it rose under a new rule. A rule which wants to wipe the population out. Will some remain, or will the population become zero? My Mechanical Heart: (Steampunk) Aline is a fairy, but not like any fairy you or I know. She is made entirely from spare parts. Her creator - Micaijah - was unable to replicate a fairies magic, yet thought his love would be enough to fill that void within Aline. He was wrong, and now Aline is bent on destroying the world which was forced upon her.
