About the Author: Rebecca Alderman is a mother, grandmother, 2nd Amendment supporter, Gun owner and CCW carrier. Rebecca founded Moms and Guns after careful evaluation of our times and how different it is raising children in today's society. Today, even more so than yesterday, we are all vulnerable. After 2 attacks against Rebecca, she chooses not to live in fear. No matter whether it's a random criminal act or a carefully planned attack, she chooses to prepare herself to be ready for whatever happens. Recently, Rebecca was threatened by a very sick individual both verbally and physically as well as on internet social networks. While she doesn't take any threat lightly no matter how casual they may or may not appear, she still chooses to live in confident resolve to do whatever necessary to defend herself and her home in the event of an attack. Rebecca is a NRA certified instructor for Pistol Shooting, gives pistol training and CCW classes for women. She is also an NRA certified instructor for the "Refuse To Be A Victim" seminar. Rebecca has trained under different experts who specialize both in point and target shooting methods. Rebecca is passionate about helping women and single moms develop a healthy resolve in training themselves and their children to stay safe - in and outside the home. Rebecca resides outside the St. Louis, MO, area with her husband. Rebecca is also author of Heaven In My Heart, Inspiration Ignited, where she tells the story of her son, Jalon Micah, and husband, John Persichitte, deaths and how she and her other sons overcame these tragedies.
