About the Book

On their modest thirty-eight foot sailing boat, Callum Williams and his wife Chloe are sailing around the world. While sailing along the coast of Spain, they take on as crew a beautiful young Australian girl who leaves them in mysterious circumstances off the coast of Morocco. This sends them on a journey across the Mediterranean in search of the truth behind her disappearance. As they travel from Spain to Africa and then to Italy and finally to Greece they attempt to unravel the mystery. Along the way, they become embroiled in a three thousand year old battle between good and evil. The author lives on a sailing yacht that he and his wife are sailing around the Mediterranean. This book has been inspired by, and is based on, the places they have visited in their real-life adventure.
About the Author: Paul Ntjortjis was born in the early sixties in London to Greek Cypriot parents. Brought up in a family of restaurateurs he 'rebelled' against tradition and did not join one of the family businesses, instead he read Electronic and Electrical Engineering at University. On graduating he started work in the then still relatively new field of computing. After twenty eight years in IT working in the banking, commercial and public sectors, with a few career breaks to backpack around the world and ski in between, he retired. Having both learnt to sail only three years earlier, Paul and his wife sold their dream home to fund a new adventure. They bought a thirty eight foot sailing boat, 'Freya of Wight' and set off to see the world. To see the world not just sail around it, this is the reason why they travel at an average speed of just one thousand nautical miles a year. When they married, Paul 'inherited' two grown up children and soon after along came the grandchildren. The real Callum, William, Chloe, Madeline, and Ellie are far cuter than their namesakes in this book are. Paul and his wife live onboard their sailboat for most of the year. When they return to England to visit loved ones they lodge with family in either Bristol or Norfolk.
