Mit dem Untergang der Sowjetunion schien der Konflikt zwischen Kommunismus und Kapitalismus zugunsten des letzteren entschieden. Aber Kommunismus ist kein einmaliges geschichtliches Ereignis, seine Wurzeln reichen uber das 19. Jahrhundert weit zuruck. Bereits in der Antike gab es bei Platon und Sokrates kommunistische Vorstellungen. So ist auch in Zukunft zu erwarten, d Gemeinschaften, Gesellschaften, Traditionen und Gesetzgebungen das Gemeinsame – communis – uber das Einzelne stellen. Kommunismus ist also zugleich eine zukunftsoffene Konzeption, die immer in Absetzung zu kapitalistischen Strukturen zu betrachten ist. Die Geschichte kapitalistischer und kommunistischer Bewegungen kann durch die Erkenntnisse der Psychoyse vertieft werden – in der Tradition, Marxismus und Psychoyse zu vermitteln (siehe Freuds Psychologische Mittwoch-Gesellschaft mit Alfred Adler, in den 1920er- und 1930er-Jahren Wilhelm Reich und Erich Fromm, spater auch die Frankfurter Schule). Der Blick des Psychoytikers ist auf Zusammenhange gerichtet, die unter der bewußten Oberflache sich zeigen und auf fruhe, in der Kindheit liegende Ereignisse schließen len. Dieser Weg, sich Texten durch genaue ysen zu nahern, lasst sich auch auf die okonomischen Schriften eines Aristoteles, Smith und Keynes anwenden. Sie bietet sich besonders fur die Texte von Marx an, speziell fur sein Hauptwerk Das Kapital . Darin bezeichnet Marx die handelnden Menschen als personae dramatis oder Charaktermasken und laßt sie Rollen spielen. Aus psychoytischer Sicht len sich diese personae dramatis als Personen interpretieren, die bestimmte Rollen in Kindheitsszenen gespielt haben, die dann das spatere Leben der einzelnen Erwachsenen oder von ganzen Gesellschaften pragen.
