Empirische Studien zeigen, dass Mitarbeiter im sozialen Kontext von Teamarbeit mehr Freude an ihrer Tätigkeit empfinden als Mitarbeiter ohne diesen Kontext. Vor diesem Hintergrund untersucht die Arbeit die Frage nach den Besonderheiten und Ursachen des Auftretens von kollektivem Flow in Teams. Ebenso zielt sie auf die Analyse von Möglichkeiten der Beeinflussung von Flow durch die Führungskraft und entwirft hierzu ein niedrigschwelliges Handlungskonzept. Die vorliegende Arbeit verfolgt zwei zentrale Ziele: Ziel 1 besteht in der Entwicklung eines ursächlichen Verständnisses für das Auftreten von kollektivem Flow in Teams. Dies ermöglicht eine Antwort auf die Frage, in welchem Zusammenhang Freude und Teamarbeit im Kontext von Erwerbstätigkeit verstanden werden können und somit eine Erklärung für die Ergebnisse der einleitenden Studie. Ziel 2 besteht in der Ableitung eines niedrigschwelligen Handlungskonzeptes für Führungskräfte, um die Ursachen des Auftretens von Flow in Teams positiv zu beeinflussen und Freude im Arbeitskontext zu steigern. Die korrespondierenden Unterziele können wie folgt benannt werden: Unterziel 1 besteht in der Beschreibung der konzeptionellen Grundlagen für individuellen und kollektiven Flow. Unterziel 2 liegt in der vergleichenden Analyse und Bewertung bestehender Erklärungsansätze mit Blick auf die Hauptziele der Arbeit. Unterziel 3 zielt auf die Ableitung für die Führungskraft beeinflussbarer Verursachungsmechanismen, ggfs. unter konzeptioneller Erweiterung der bestehenden Ansätze.
