Konsumenten besitzen in konkreten Entscheidungssituationen vielfach keine exakt definierten Vorstellungen hinsichtlich des Nutzens der zur Wahl stehenden Alternativen. Sie verfugen a priori nicht uber ein vollstandiges System konsistenter Praferenzen und lassen intuitiv den Entscheidungskontext in die Bewertung des Nutzens der Alternativen einfliessen. Dieses aus Sicht der normativen Entscheidungstheorie nicht rationale Entscheidungsverhalten wird in dieser Arbeit durch psychologische Theorien erklart. Als Einflussfaktoren auf die resultierende Praferenzstruktur werden insbesondere die Reihenfolge der Beurteilung der Alternativen sowie die Verteilung der Merkmalsauspragungen in der Alternativenmenge identifiziert. Aus der Beeinflussbarkeit dieser Grossen durch den Anbieter resultiert die praktische Relevanz der Studie. Die dargelegten theoretischen Zusammenhange werden in einer umfangreichen empirischen Untersuchung auf der Basis einer Conjoint Analyse fur den Fall multiattributiver Objekte uberpruft."
About the Author: Der Autor: Hans Hoser, geboren 1965, studierte von 1986 bis 1992 Betriebswirtschaftslehre mit den Schwerpunkten Marketing, Wirtschaftsinformatik und Investition, Finanzierung, Banken an der Universitat Regensburg sowie Business Analysis an der University of Lancaster. Von 1993 bis 1997 war er als Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Lehrstuhl fur Betriebswirtschaftslehre mit Schwerpunkt Marketing an der Universitat Augsburg beschaftigt. Neben Aufgaben in Lehre und Forschung fuhrte er eigenverantwortlich zahlreiche Projekte fur national und international operierende Unternehmen durch und arbeitete als Dozent an verschiedenen Institutionen. Seit 1997 ist er im Markenmanagement der Audi AG tatig. Die Promotion zum Dr. rer. pol. erfolgte 1998."
