Vor Verlust und Trauer schrecken viele Menschen zurück. Tränen werden als Zeichen der Schwäche gewertet und daher unterdrückt. Unter den Himmelsbewohnern lebt der kleine Engel David. Die Traurigkeit der Menschen auf der Erde berührt ihn tief. David würde am liebsten alle Tränen der Welt abschaffen. Jeremia, einer der älteren Himmelsboten, erzählt ihm von der Wichtigkeit der geweinten und ungeweinten Tränen. Er nimmt David mit auf eine Reise jenseits der Wolken. Sie fliegen durch Sturm und Regen und treffen später flügellose Engel in grauen Gewändern. Nach einer Weile verändern sich diese seltsamen Himmelswesen und ihre Kleider werden wieder weiß. Der kleine Engel staunt - doch vieles bleibt für ihn weiter unverständlich. Immer wieder stellt er neue Fragen: Was ist in den Krügen, die diese ungewöhnlichen Engel tragen? Warum reden sie nicht mit ihm? Warum hat Jeremias Gewand eine leuchtend blaue Farbe? Einfühlsam beantwortet Jeremia die Fragen seines kleinen Freundes. So kann am Ende auch David die Kostbarkeit aller Gefühle und aller Tränen erkennen.
About the Author: Jutta Sievers (1947) Realschulabschluss, danach Ausbildung zur Drogistin. Frührentnerin seit 1979, im Nebenerwerb ca. 35 Jahre Tätigkeit als Tagesmutter und Kinderfrau. Jutta Sievers hat eine Ausbildung zur Prädikantin der Ev. Kirche Westfalen gemacht und gehört seit 2008 dem Presbyterium in Lienen an. Im Zusammenhang mit ihrer Faszination für Spiritualität und Weisheit indigener Kulturen folgte 2007 eine Ausbildung zur Tanzleiterin der "Tänze des Universellen Friedens". Bis 2012 nahm Jutta Sievers eine ehrenamtliche Tätigkeit als Freie Trauerrednerin wahr. Als Autodidaktin versuchte sie sich in unterschiedlichen Bereichen. Zu den Hobbys, die sie besonders pflegte, gehören das Schreiben von Gedichten und Kurzgeschichten, die Naturfotografie, sowie das Töpfern von Engeln und Krippenfiguren. Die Veröffentlichung ihres ersten Kinderbuches "Sofie und das Indianermädchen" erfolgte 2008 auf rein privatem Wege. Dieses Buch ist nur über die Autorin erhältlich.
