​Alexander Hochmeier beantwortet folgende Fragen: Welchen Stellwert haben die in der Literatur dargestellten Themen Open Innovation, Diversität und Enterprise 2.0 in der aktuellen Handlungspraxis im Innovationsmanagement in Österreich ansässiger Unternehmen, und wie können mögliche Handlungsbedarfe im Innovationsprozess transparent gemacht werden? Dazu werden zuerst wesentliche Begriffe aus dem Kontext Innovation definiert und voneinander abgegrenzt. Die Unterschiede zwischen Closed und Open Innovation und die Voraussetzungen für Open Innovation werden erläutert. Daran anschließend werden ausgewählte, in der Literatur hervorgehobene und diskutierte Enabler des Innovationsprozesses - Diversität, Enterprise 2.0 und Innovation Intermediarys - näher betrachtet. Anschließend wird anhand der dokumentarischen Methode, die zur Analyse von sieben konkreten Fallbeispielen (Experteninterviews) eingesetzt wird, die aktuelle Handlungspraxis in Österreich ansässiger Unternehmen dargestellt. Auf Basis dieser Analysen und der Methode "KnowMetrix" leitet der Autor anschließend ein Werkzeug zur Identifikation von Handlungsbedarfen im Innovationsprozess ab.
About the Author:

Alexander Hochmeier absolvierte sein berufsbegleitendes Master Studium Supply Chain Management an der Fachhochschule Steyr. Er ist dort als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter und Lehrveranstaltungsleiter im Forschungsschwerpunkt Digital Economy tätig.
