Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2011 im Fachbereich BWL - Offline-Marketing und Online-Marketing, Note: 1,3, Universität Kassel (IBWL), Veranstaltung: Market Communication, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Unternehmen beschäftigen sich schon lange mit dem Kaufentscheidungsprozess von Konsumenten. Typischerweise wurde dieser Prozess dadurch bestimmt, dass Werbemaßnahmen bestimmte Wirkungen beim Konsumenten entfalten und ein Produkt im Handel nach einiger Bedenkzeit bzgl. möglicher Alternativen gekauft wird. Diese eindimensionale Sichtweise ist aber heute überholt. Konsumenten tauschen sich während und nach ihrem Kaufentscheidungsprozess mit anderen Konsumenten aus. Sie teilen Erfahrungen mit einer breiten Masse und beeinflussen damit eine Vielzahl von Konsumenten, beispielsweise durch Äußerungen auf sozialen Netzwerken wie Facebook.com oder durch Produktbewertungen auf Amazon.com. Wie lassen sich aber solche neuartigen Berührungspunkte mit einer Marke und die neue Rolle des Konsumenten in den Kaufentscheidungsprozess integrieren, um Handlungsoptionen für das Marketing ableiten zu können? Eine Möglichkeit ist das Konzept der Customer Journey, welches eine neuartige Betrachtung des Kaufprozesses darstellt. Ziel der hier vorliegenden Arbeit ist es daher das Konzept der Customer Journey darzustellen, um dadurch Nutzungsmöglichkeiten und Ansatzpunkte für das Marketing und im Besonderen für die Marktkommunikation herauszuarbeiten. Um das oben dargestellte Ziel zu erreichen werden im zweiten Kapitel die konzeptionellen Grundlagen der Customer Journey dargestellt. Um diese Grundlagen zu vermitteln wird im ersten Schritt das klassische Funnel-orientierte Kaufprozessmodell dargestellt (Kapitel 2.1), welches Ausgangspunkt für die Überlegungen der Customer Journey ist und in Kapitel 2.2 umfassend erläutert wird. Hauptteil der vorliegenden Arbeit ist das dritte Kapitel mit einigen Vorüberlegungen zu relevanten Teilbereichen des Marketings und der Marketingkommunikation (Kapitel 3.1), um
