About the Book

English summary: This book provides modern readers with a translation of a once lost play from the Italian Renaissance. Found in 1928 at the Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana in Venice from within a sixteenth century manuscript, this play is considered to be the most audacious of the Italian Renaissance.
