Ya que los culebrones televisivos rondan el problema pero no se atreven a penetrar en él. Pareciera que cuando el drama se ha mostrado, como la tierra prometida a Moisés, los actores titubean y terminan por esconder el alma. Y si no fuera así, ¿cuál sería la diferencia entre un Tolstoi en Ana Karenina con un libretista a sueldo por semana? ¡Y vaya si la hay! ¿Cuál es la diferencia? me preguntarán ustedes. Si la supiera, si la supiéramos ¡Cuántos Tolstoi hubieran aparecido desde aquella época! Entonces pues, esta historia, por más que se le parezca, no pretende ser una novela sentimental.
