With The Leadership Communication Lab, authors Travis L. Russ, Ph.D., and Meghann L. Drury-Grogan, Ph.D. (Fordham University, Gabelli School of Business) have created an easy-to-use facilitation guide for a business communication simulation that tests students' leadership abilities in a fast-paced and high-pressured work environment.
The increasingly complex and ever-shifting nature of business communication requires leaders who are adept at maneuvering through new and unexpected challenges.
Going beyond traditional speaking and writing assignments, this simulation evaluates students' abilities to:
- Negotiate under pressure - Manage organizational crises - Conduct stakeholder analyses - Manage interpersonal dynamics - Navigate intercultural exchanges - Tailor messages to diverse media channels This up-to-date simulation helps students grow into authentic, dynamic professionals and provides practical tools for future success.
