About the Book

Discover a new perspective on leadership with Leading to the One(TM), a book that challenges the notion that leadership has changed and instead proposes a restoration of true leadership that is people-focused. The book introduces the Clarity Based Leadership (CBL)(TM) system, which includes the Clarity Model(TM) and Leading to the One(TM), two core components that equip leaders to create a culture of clarity. Learn about L-21(TM) Interactions, a system of one-on-one interactions that can help leaders develop more awareness, set mutual expectations, and give and receive developmental feedback. Through a data-centric approach, leaders can gain powerful insights to understand themselves and the people around them, access unused human capacity, and create an environment where growth and development can take place. Whether you are a new or seasoned leader, or simply interested in understanding human behavior, Leading to the One(TM) is for you. It's time to become the type of leader who understands the power of creating cultures of clarity where people are engaged, developed, and fulfilled.
About the Author: Bob is the founder of IN2GREAT, a leadership consulting firm (www.in2great.com), which he started in 2011 with a focus on inspiring and equipping people to reach their full potential. With over 35 years of experience as a leader, strategist, and business owner, Bob has worked with CEOs of manufacturing companies and head coaches of professional sports teams. He has a deep passion for people and leadership and has helped many clients understand their people at a deeper level, unlocking their leadership potential through the use of data and analytics. Bob and his team at IN2GREAT share the vision of inspiring and equipping people to be everything they were created to be. Bob has been married to his wife Judy for 37 years, and together they have four sons, four daughters-in-law, and eleven grandchildren. Recently, Bob and his family moved from Ohio to the Charlotte, NC, area. Nicki's journey has taken multiple twists and turns. Her first leadership role was in the mid-90s where (at the age of 21) she accepted the responsibility of running a Tractor Supply store in Michigan. As a young, female leader, in a traditionally male-dominated field, she had no way of knowing what was ahead. She remembers her leadership training looking something like this: "here are the keys to the store, here are six employees, here is a P&L statement, now make the bottom number go up by 10% and we will check in with you from time to time." It took a few bumps and bruises, but Nicki quickly learned that if she was going to be successful, she needed to learn how to equip the people on her team. It was this leadership role that sparked a passion for equipping others to reach their full potential. Since then, Nicki has had the pleasure of owning her own website development business, leading and training teams in the non-profit sector, creating leadership content, launching new initiatives, working with young adults and families on the topics of identity and purpose, and speaking to and / teaching various groups of individuals.
Individuals recognizing their unique value is what fuels her passion for people and leadership. The decision to join IN2GREAT, in 2018, came when Nicki recognized that she and Bob had a shared vision, "To inspire and equip people to be everything God created them to be." In 2022, Nicki was promoted to President of IN2GREAT. Nicki has been the proud wife of Tim for over 27 years and together they live in Ohio with two adult daughters and a teenage son. As a family, they try to live by these values: Be kind, act courageously, live with integrity, consider the needs of others and remain loyal.
