About the Book

Joel is an IT director at Watzka Legacy, the technology arm of a large, American corporation. In Leading Unlikely, book three of The Dominant Gene series, Joel is once again pushed to his limits by his coach, Eve, and by his own vision to become a great leader. About the Author: A conqueror of mediocrity, Francie Van Wirkus is a certified professional coach in the insurance and financial services industry, with an Agile, Lean and sales focus. She helps people of all levels take strategic, sustainable steps toward their goals. Her innovative ways of leading and sustaining change help large IT transformations in a complex organizations. She is a SAFe 4.0 Program Consultant. Francie is an active keynote speaker, author, blogger, and co-host of Agile Bettys, a motivational podcast that encourages living an agile lifestyle. She is author of a business novel series on leadership, The Dominant Gene. Reveille, the first book in the series, begins the exhilarating journey of becoming a better leader. Permission to Lead, the second book in the series, continues the story and teachings of strong leadership. Book three, Leading Unlikely, is slated for release in May 2018. Francie enjoys racing endurance events, as well as helping people do what seems impossible with Breakthrough Coaching. She lives in suburban Milwaukee with her husband and three delightful children.
