Learning Thai Script is Considered DifficultIt isn't.
Many think that the unfamiliar Thai characters are hard to learn.
They're not.
It's just the way you've been taught.
What If Learning the Thai Alphabet Was Made Simple?Because easy learning is all about the method...
...and if that's simple to understand, then so is the rest.
How simple an idea in Memory Aids!! - Brock Estes, Richmond, VA, 15th September 2013
Our Brains Work in PicturesThey do. Let me explain...
Think of the last birthday party or happy event you went to. What do you see?
You see pictures of the event...
...pictures of your friends, your family, even the room itself.
Pictures of where everyone is, what they were wearing, and so on.
That's how our brains work.
So, we decided to design our learning the Thai alphabet method with pictures.
Conversions take time, but...
Picture In, Picture OutOur simple, easy to remember pictures contain everything you need to know about the Thai alphabet:
- If you're trying to learn consonants, the picture contains everything you must know: the consonant sound(s), the consonant class, and the consonant shape
- If you're trying to learn the vowels, again the picture contains all you need to know: the sound and the shape. (Unlike consonants, vowels don't have any class - they're still cool though, just no class;-)).
What You Can Achieve"Well, I agree that your app and those posts are like a speed-of-light catalyst in terms of teaching one the Thai script and reading it within literally two days (in my experience) which I find extraordinary." - Emiliusz Smorczewski, Illinois
"... already I have achieved more than I would have thought possible in such a short space of time. I decided to study the Middle and High class consonants first... then the Low class consonants. I then followed the same pattern with the vowels... Suddenly I was looking at Thai writing and beginning to see words forming ... fantastic!! This has been a brilliant start for me Russ ... Your colour code and picture aids make learning so much easier ..." Orville Earle, London
