About the Book

Learning to Lean Back on Living is a journey of self-discovery providing new ways for self-reflection, and examining where we fit into the grand scheme. It's an exploration of what it means to be authentic, looking in the mirror and loving to live in a momentary reflection of ourselves. The poems in this collection are lessons on leaning back and welcoming each day into your awareness, as you would your lover's arms.
About the Author: John lives with his wife Candis and furry companions, in the beautiful village of Ajijic, Jalisco, Mexico. John was raised in both Canada and the United States, and has dual citizenship, In 1963 at 17 he joined the USAF where he began writing poetry while stationed in Alaska. Four years later he moved to Texas.
