About the Book

This evidence-based study explores the Austrian Public Employment Service (AMS) - an apparatus responsible for inequality, poverty, victimisation and human rights violations in the Republic of Austria. Being shielded by the two main political parties in Austria - the far-right ÖVP Party and the SPÖ Party - the AMS organisation has the power to cancel and cut vitally important social security funds at their digression; jointly in collaboration with the magistrates and district authorities in Austria, which fall in line with whatever the AMS dictates. It should also be noted that Austria has fallen back seven places on the Social Progress Index (SPI); inequality and social discrimination of people increasing in Austria dramatically - the AMS organisation being a willing and guilty collaborator in perpetrating inequality, injustice and human rights violations in Austria - by propagating bureaucratic despotism, authoritarianism, lack of empathy and unquestioning loyalty to figures in authority. This applies also to political parties in Austria - such as the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP) and Social Democratic Party (SPÖ), who are unwilling to implement much-needed social reforms in Austria - as they are stealing all the money from the Austrian government, being party to political corruption in Austria. This includes Chancellor Nehammer, Vice Chancellor Kogler and Foreign Minister Schallenberg. The International Community is advised to keep a safe distance from the Austrian government, until these human rights issues have been resolved, and equality and equity have been implemented in the country. In the meantime domestic policy, foreign policy and human rights issues concerning the Republic of Austria will be handled by the NGO BTB-Global Peacebuilding. It should also be noted, that a Basic Income Guarantee (BIG) must be implemented in the Republic of Austria - to counter and prevent rising inequality and poverty in Austria and the International Community at large. A BIG is essential to reduce socioeconomic inequalities and stop the discrimination of unemployed people; and to counter inequality, civil unrest and health problems. In a world where there are no guarantees and as citizens who must be under government rule, we should at least be assured that we will be able to feed, clothe and handle the simplest needs of human beings. Hence a Basic Income Guarantee is essential to ensure basic human rights and to overcome health problems; such as Covid-19.
