"Per Velum" lectoribus mysteria et secreta antiquorum sacerdotum ostendit, dum "Adventus Hunnorum" barbaros feroces ad portas Imperii effingit. In "Certamen," duces militares et heroici viri in acie pugnant, virtutem et fortitudinem quae Romanos invictos fecerunt ostendentes. "Primum Onus" et "Iconoclastes" res gestas et spiritus renovationem post clades horrendas explorant.
"Maximinus Gigas," tripartita fabula, historiam mirabilem gigantici viri refert, cuius magnitudo et virtus in Thracia stuporem generant. Ascensus et ruina Maximini Gigantis exemplum humanitatis et fragilitatis potentiae sunt. "Astrum Rubrum" et "Speculum Argenteum" fabulosa elementa cum historia miscent, dum caelum et sidera Romanae superstitiones et scientias in lucem protrahunt. "Domum Reducendi" est narratio de militibus et civibus qui post bellum domum revertuntur, cum vulneribus non tantum corporis sed etiam animi. "Nexus" et "Centurio" iterum virtutes Romanas et dilectionem patriae exaltant, ostendentes cur Imperium Romanum tam diu perduraverit.
