Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2022 im Fachbereich Pädagogik - Sozialpädagogik, Note: 2,0, Universität Hamburg, Veranstaltung: Seminar Vertiefung, Sachunterricht, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Gegenstand dieser Hausarbeit ist die Betrachtung der Bildungschancen der Migrantenkinder im Vergleich zu den einheimischen. Thematisiert wird hierbei die Leistungsdifferenz, insbesondere ihre Ausprägung und die relevanten Ursachen. Insbesondere wird betrachtet, ab wann und inwiefern eine Diskriminierung und Benachteiligung entsteht und mit welchen Folgen diese an Schulen verbunden ist. Dafür muss zunächst verstanden werden, wie eine Benachteiligung im Thema Schule definiert wird, um dann anschließend analysieren zu können, ob dies im Bildungssystem tatsächlich besteht. Im zweiten Kapitel wird auf die Begriffe Benachteiligung und unmittelbare Diskriminierung eingegangen. Ebenso wird die Wichtigkeit der Gleichberechtigung an Schulen thematisiert, um Leistungsdifferenzen zwischen einheimischen und Migrantenkindern zu minimieren, um dann anschließend diskutieren zu können, ob anhand der Analyse erkennbar wird, Bildungsungleichheiten vermeiden zu können. Das Thema der Migration ist aus dem Alltag kaum noch wegzudenken, vor allem in Deutschland ist die Diversität stark geprägt; immer mehr Menschen haben einen Migrationshintergrund bzw. Migrationserfahrungen, da sie Kinder von Zuwanderer/-innen oder selbst welche sind. Durch die Zunahme der Migration kommt es zu verschiedenen Reformbemühungen der Schulen, da Schulen und Lehrpläne zunächst vielfach als nationale Schule gestaltet und durch die erhöhten Zuwanderungszahlen und deren Folgen zu internationalen Schulen reformiert wurden. Ein weiterer Grund für die Reform der Bildungsansätze ist die Teilnahme Deutschlands an Studien, wie z. B. die sogenannte PISA-Studie, die mehrmals ergeben haben, dass der schulische Erfolg in Deutschland deutlich mit der sozialen Herkunft zusammenhängt, was jedoch nicht angemessen sei.
