Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2022 im Fachbereich Didaktik - Deutsch - Pädagogik, Sprachwissenschaft, Note: 1,0, Universität Siegen (Germanistisches Seminar), Veranstaltung: Bildungssprache - Konzepte und Förderung in schulischen Kontexten, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Lesekompetenz ist eine notwendige Fähigkeit für alle Unterrichtsfächer. Insbesondere Fach- und Sachtexte bereiten vielen Schülerinnen und Schülern dabei jedoch im Fach Geschichte häufig große Probleme durch die in ihnen enthaltenen bildungssprachlichen Hürden. Ziel der Hausarbeit ist, an diesem Punkt anzusetzen und folgende Forschungsfrage zu beantworten: Inwiefern enthalten Sachtexte im Fach Geschichte bildungssprachliche Anforderungen, welche Rolle spielt dabei die Lesekompetenz und wie lässt sich diese fördern? Um dieser Fragestellung nachgehen zu können, soll zunächst geklärt werden, was unter dem Terminus Bildungssprache zu verstehen ist und durch welche Merkmale sie sich auszeichnet. Weitergehend soll dann geklärt werden, inwiefern auch der Geschichtsunterricht von bildungssprachlichen Hürden betroffen ist und welche weiteren Spezifika den Geschichtsunterricht sprachlich herausfordernd machen. Daran anknüpfend soll auch geprüft werden, inwieweit sich diese Anforderungen insbesondere in den zu lesenden Texten des Geschichtsunterrichts niederschlagen. Der Fokus soll hierbei auf den Sachtexten liegen. Schließlich sollen dann Möglichkeiten der Lesekompetenzförderung im Geschichtsunterricht vorgestellt werden. Zunächst sollen hierzu vorbereitend einige Bemerkungen zur Lesekompetenz im Allgemeinen getroffen werden, um dann die Rolle von Lesestrategien zu beleuchten. Dazu soll auch das Konzept des sog. "Lese-Navigators" vorgestellt werden. Zuletzt soll das Wichtigste nochmals zusammengetragen und ein Fazit gezogen werden, welches die Frage letztlich beantworten und die Arbeit abrunden soll.
