Inhaltsangabe: Zusammenfassung: Der Titel Lesen und Lesenlernen impliziert die Betrachtung des Individuums. Lernen ist ein individueller Prozess, eine kinderorientierte Pädagogik betrachtet somit die subjektive Welt des lesenden Kindes. Um diese Welt in ihrer pädagogischen Dimension zu erfassen, sind die Institutionen, die bei der Erziehung eines Kindes von Bedeutung sind, darzulegen. Die Familie, die Kindertagesstätte und die Schule gestalten unter anderem den Lebensalltag von Kindern. Der Titel schließt die Frage nach der kindlichen Motivation zum Lesen mit ein. Der gedankliche Leitfaden dieser Arbeit ist, die Frage nach den verantwortlichen Faktoren, die ein Kind mit Freude lesen lernen bzw. lesen lassen. Dazu beschäftige ich mich zunächst in der historischen Betrachtung damit, wie die allgemeine Lesefähigkeit ausgebildet wurde. Die mediale Lebenswelt des Kindes, das lesende Kind und die Entwicklung der Phantasie werden im Folgenden erörtert. Die Fähigkeit, das Lesen zu erlernen bzw. dieses Lernen zu fördern, sowohl zur Verhinderung eines Defizits als auch im Sinne von lebenslangem Lesen und Lernen bilden den abschließenden Teil der Auseinandersetzung.
