Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2017 im Fachbereich Psychologie - Diagnostik, Note: 2,0, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Seit mehr als einhundert Jahren sind Lernschwierigkeiten beim Erlernen des Lesens und Schreibens bekannt, doch erst der PISA-Schock im Jahr 2000 brachte die weit verbreiteten Schwierigkeiten deutscher Jugendlicher bei schriftsprachlicher Anforderung wieder auf die Tagesordnung. Dass Lese-Rechtschreib-Schwächen (LRS) zu den häufigsten Entwicklungsstörungen im Kindesalter gehören, wurde nun einer breiten Öffentlichkeit bekannt. Es kann von einer LRS ausgegangen werden, sofern Probleme beim Rechnen, Schreiben und Lesen auftreten, wobei die Schwierigkeiten des Lesens und Schreibens häufig in kombinierter Form vorkommen. Die Schwäche ist in dem Sinne besonders gravierend, da aufgrund dieses Defizits Schülerinnen und Schüler (SuS) auch in anderen Schulfächern vor Probleme gestellt werden. Die Kompetenzen Lesen und Schreiben sind in allen Schulfächern vertreten und Grundvoraussetzung dafür, dass Aufgabenstellungen sowohl richtig erfasst als auch korrekt bearbeitet werden können. Insofern ist es von großer Bedeutung, dass Lehrer über Lese-Rechtschreibschwierigkeiten aufgeklärt werden und in der Lage sind, im Sinne des Kindes oder Jugendlichen zu handeln und es dementsprechend zu fördern. Dem schriftsprachlichen Anfangsunterricht fällt in Grund- und Förderschulen eine zentrale Rolle zu, um Schwierigkeiten beim Lesen und Schreiben langfristig zu begegnen. Falls es den SuS in den ersten beiden Schuljahren nicht gelingt das Lesen und Schreiben im ausreichenden Maße zu erlernen, erschließen sich obendrein im Jugend- und Erwachsenenalter meist Probleme. Überproportional häufig können dabei orthografische Defizite, Beeinträchtigungen automatisierter Leseprozesse, Schwierigkeiten beim Leseverständnis und im schriftsprachlichen Ausdruck beobachtet werden.
