About the Book

Part Three of A Story Never to Be Told that began with a botched experiment in Advanced Computers&Games which propelled Pim Pergamon to Left World. Finally in Star Central where the gate back to London is, Pim promptly falls in love with lovely Andine, Dr. Schlosen-Bosen's daughter. The capital of Left World has remained unscathed so far, but it is paralysed by fear of the imminent final attack of Rector Cinerum whose true identity remains unknown. Homeless, hopeless and in hiding, Tim's friends realize there is no future for them in Left World and entreat him to take them to Right World. Administrative Fairies, wandering kolkhozniks on the quest from the Politburo to find the Never-Ending Sentence and footnotes escaped from a library now work in Left World together with Edna Edwards, Barney the pacman and a bunch of teenagers in Right World to stop the Hordes of Destruction and the final takeover of imagination.
About the Author: Dr. Strudelbert von Hexenschluss is a Senior Dear Fellow at the Institute for Pre-Colombian Insults in the Hague, Netherlands, where he serves as the Chief Custodian of the world famous Julio Ximenez Collection of Snubs, Slights and Slanders. Dr. Strudelbert hails from Upper Silesia - his father was born a Freiherr but regrettably had to sell off an 'r' after the family fell on hard times. Having obtained his doctorate in Deep Science from University of Uppsala, and after a short stint as Parkingfinder General for the Ipswich Diocese, for a number of years dr. Strudelbert held the position of Master Handler in Flann O'Brian's Buchhandlung Service (Dept. of Traitement Superbe). No stranger to controversy, dr. Strudelbert is the Chief Editor of entries on Master of Business Administration and Salted Butter in the Encyclopaedia of Things That Didn't Need to Be Invented. He is currently stuck in a train just outside Rotterdam Central Station.
