His love of photography became more aesthetic when he became a father in the '80s. He embraced a new system of image creating that captured a more intimate portrait very detail-oriented. His work was beginning to be noticed by many people in the community. He became an event photographer for schools, the Housatonic Counsel in CT, for weddings, portraits, and the like.
In 2005 he began his travels around the world as a photographer. His first trip was to Acapulco Mexico. He is meticulous in his approach to his art form. He would learn the lay of the land, the people's interests, their cultural norms, and etiquette. Joseph began to love the people he met. He would find that the stresses of everyday life would disappear as he engaged in his photoshoots and captured the spirit of those he met along the way. To date, he has visited 26 countries and has taken over 90,000 photos. He has had a gallery on National Geographic. His work can be seen in travel magazines, private companies, and businesses.
