If we analyze negative comments under different Letter Tracing (Handwriting Practice) books, we'll see exactly the same two problems.
PROBLEM # 1: LACK OF PRACTICAL PAGES.This problem is accompanied by the following comments: Not so many pages as expected, We will use it but will be looking for something with more pages, need to cut the pages out and put them into page protectors and use dry erase markers, two pages are not enough etc.
If we look at a huge number of letter tracing (handwriting practice) books, we'll see the following: most often, two pages are allocated to tracing a single letter - one for uppercase and one for lowercase letters.
Two more pages are allocated to tracing a certain word, which begins with the specified letter.
A total of four pages per letter. And this is at best. Most books are simply limited to two pages per letter.
We use 6 pages per letter plus combined pages (different letters on one page). Training takes place from simple, where you just need to trace letters with the guides provided, to a more complicated one, where you need to write letters without guides, or enter missing letters into words.
It uses additional activities that make this process interesting, fun and desirable (see the "PROBLEM #2" below).
You need to understand that the same children don't exist. Each child needs its own number of practical pages to consolidate their skills.
Many people try to solve this problem with different tricks, like cut a page, laminate it and use an erasable marker to trace letters.
I think this is a very tedious task, don't you?;)

PROBLEM # 2: BOREDOM.This problem is accompanied by the following comments: the book has no diversity in the tracing of the letters, I wish it was a bit more interactive, I just wish it was a bit more engaging and fun. My child got bored easily etc.
Yeah... The child quickly gets bored to lead a pencil along the guides provided.
We solve this problem with additional exciting activities:
- find and color the pictures that start with the letter;
- find the letter in a letter search;
- find the words with the letter in a word search;
- fill the word with a missing letter;
- read "interesting notes" about animals that start with the letter and more...
Another important point. Answer yourself one question - WHAT DO WE PAY FOR WHEN WE BUY THIS KIND OF BOOK? Is it for a certain set of pages?
NO. WE PAY FOR THE RESULT. We expect the child to gain new knowledge or skills as a result of working with a book.
Unfortunately, today among a huge number of books there're a lot of cheap crap.
MY GOAL IS TO MAKE YOUR CHOICE RESPONSIBLE, NOT SPONTANEOUS. You must clearly understand why you are choosing a particular book among all the other existing books.
