On a le sens de la vengeance, dans la famille. Nolimé en fait l'expérience lorsqu'elle croise à nouveau la route de son père, vingt ans après le drame qui a détruit leurs vies. Et son père en a également goûté la saveur, lorsque sa fille l'a obligée, vingt années plus tôt, à assumer ses actes... ou ses non-actes. De trois à cinq heures du matin, toutes les nuits, elle se réveille. Et attend. De la France au coeur de l'Afrique, père et fille vont jouer leur ballet de haine et de revanche, malgré la certitude que rien, jamais, ne pourra être réparé.
About the Author: Née en Afrique équatoriale dans une famille d'oiseaux migrateurs, Marie-Pierre Bardou a gardé de ses voyages précoces le goût des départs, même en imagination. Elle teste un peu tous les genres - poésie, nouvelle... - mais c'est avec le roman qu'elle peut, réellement, se laisser embarquer . Grande admiratrice du génie fiévreux d'un Dostoïevski ou de l'implacable plume d'un Ross Mc Donald ou d'un Liam O' Flaherty, elle adore les romans historiques et les thrillers. C'est le plus souvent dans les drames familiaux qu'elle puise sa propre inspiration. Elle a une prédilection pour les grasses matinées et les séries TV, et de temps en temps se laisse séduire par quelques chutes libres - mais toujours avec un parachute. Sinon, son bureau ou son canapé seront les endroits où vous la trouverez la plupart du temps. L'avantage étant qu'ils sont dans la même pièce, pour une très agréable économie de mouvement.
