Primer libro de la serie: Heródoto Historias Reloaded 2.0.

Este nuevo libro, el primero de una serie de nueve, es una actualización y modernización (muy pero que muy picara) de las célebres nueve Historías escritas por el gran maestro griego Heródoto de Halicarnaso en el siglo V antes de Cristo, va desde el rapto de las princesas Ío de Argos, Europa de Tiro y Medea de Georgia, hasta el secuestro, que fue más bien una fuga de amor, de la reina Helena de Esparta con el joven príncipe troyano Paris, hecho este último que causará la terrible guerra de Troya en la que morirán los héroes Aquiles y Hector.

Pasaremos después por la rocambolesca conquista del poder en el reino de Lidia por parte de un semi desconocido soldado llamado Giges quien, con la complicidad de su amante, la reina Nyssia, matará a puñaladas en la cama al legítimo rey Candaules, (un depravado sexual al que le gustaba enseñar su esposa desnuda a otros hombres), quedándose después con el reino y con la mujer del muerto, hasta llegar a la victoria del rey persa Ciro II el Grande sobre el riquísimo y extravagante rey Creso de Lidia, un conocido friki multimillonario de la antigüedad.

Veremos cómo este mismo rey Ciro (cuyo abuelo materno, el malvado rey Astiages de Media, intentó asesinar cuando tan solo era un bebé recién nacido, y del que se decía que había sido amamantado y criado por una loba), llegará al poder en Persia y cómo logrará derrotar en una batalla campal a su abuelo, haciéndose también con el reino de Media; y también veremos cómo un milagroso delfin salvará la vida del famoso musico y cantante Arión, arrojado de una nave en navegación en todo el medio del mediterráneo...

Seremos testigos, además, de cómo nuestro rey Ciro conquistará la mítica ciudad de Babilonia y toda la Asiria, (devolviéndoles de paso, en el año 539 a. C., la libertad a los judíos de Israel cautivos desde hacía sesenta años en Babilonia), y cómo finalmente, no contento con haber creado un inmenso imperio, Ciro intentará conquistar también al semidesconocido y salvaje pueblo escita-masageta del Mar Caspio, un intento este último qué le costará la vida al rey persa quien será derrotado en batalla, decapitado sin piedad, y su cabeza sumergida en un odre lleno de sangre por la vengativa soberana de esos masagetas, la reina guerrera Tomiris.
