About the Book

As timely as when the book was written, this book explains the evolution of the core principles of political philosophy contained in the US Constitution (Version 3.0) and how they have been hijacked and circumvented by the type of political "viruses" the founders sought to safeguard against. These viruses have become more identifiable in the fears behind the hyperpartisan rhetoric.

With a focus on how human nature and economic motives have subverted the mission of government, this books explains how the U.S. has drifted far from its original mission statement of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness, to becoming a useful tool for exploitation through political parties rather than a government of the people. Anderson promotes corrections to the political system that would be involved in an upgrade to version 4.0, which takes into account the viruses that have crept into the system and fundamentally redirected it since the founding.

Five key principles of good government are discussed in Part 1: Protection, Subsidiarity, Separation of Powers, Transparency, and the Right to Secede. Part 2 discusses some reforms of Congress, taxation, and welfare to make government run effectively and serve the entire society instead of special interests that abuse the system.

About the Author: GORDON ANDERSON is Secretary General of Professors World Peace Academy, and Editor of "International Journal on World Peace." He earned his Ph.D. in Philosophy of Religion at the Claremont Graduate School. He is editor of "The World Wide State of the Family" and co-editor of "Morality and Religion in Liberal Democratic Societies." He has published numerous articles on Religion and Society.
