About the Book

Eleven year old Jamie's greatest passions are science fiction, outer-space and baseball. He lives a normal life in an average American town until a mysterious peace giving Light streams through his bedroom window, making him feel more amazing than he has ever felt before. Witness Jamie's desperate need for the Light to return and his excitement when it does, offering to transport him and his friends to a distant planet orbiting the star of Rigel. Experience their wonder as the Light sets them on a quest to restore daylight to a land cursed to live without it for more than a thousand years. Go with Jamie, Tom and Lily Ann as they attempt to break the curse. Venture with them into the dark forest, meeting the strange, fascinating and sometimes deadly creatures who live there, the curious playful Su-fras, the high spirited Ka-lamas, wise noble Ma-lors, beautiful Da-borings, evil Sa-turanks, beastly Ja-namors, fierce Ra-venors and deadly serpentine grools. Face dangers and battle dark forces. Walk the blue road to the Temple of Menas, where timeless secrets written on sacred scrolls are kept under lock and key. Discover how the secrets contained in these sacred scrolls change the lives of those who live in the land, and the lives of Jamie, Tom and Lily Ann forever.
About the Author: For as long as Marya Brunson can remember she has been a spiritual seeker, the quest for Truth sitting silently beneath all the activities of her personal and professional life. It led her to the wisdom of many faiths and philosophies. From each she accepted the ideas that were the most inclusive and universal, embracing them with an open willing heart. No specific creed has ever claimed her allegiance, only Being, eternal, divine, supreme and infinite Being. Divine Love and motherhood have been the predominant themes of her life, her motherly embrace extending beyond her children and grandchildren to all who live in this world. Marya has been a spiritual teacher for the past thirty-eight years, teaching classes, giving lectures and conducting workshops in many cities throughout the United States. She currently lives and teaches in San Diego, California.
