About the Book

Four tales of Elemental beings weave together to craft this whimsical anthology filled with love, magic, and courage.

Lily in the Snow Mica Schist, a Rock Elemental, has lived all her life in the mountains with Pierson, her melancholy guardian. When Jewett, an Earth Elemental, visits their cave, Mica's world is turned upside-down-as is her heart. She longs for a life outside the cave, and soon, an approaching enemy grants this wish. But even the gentle forests of Jewett's world cause Mica to lose her fragile crystals, her life source. Can Mica save herself and live the life she's always dreamed?

The Story-Teller Eleesa's gift is that of story-telling. She has no problem embellishing the truth now and then; after all, she's never noticed the same consequences that befall the other Imps who misuse their gifts. However, through an old friend who mysteriously reappears, she will discover that the consequences are much more severe than she could have ever imagined.

Labyrinth: Heart of Stone Gargoyles, Druids, haughty dragon fairies, a seductive Noelani, a mansion housing an endless maze of stairs-and not to mention, a handsome, brooding man made of stone. These magical elements combine to create the perfectly scandalous tale of Catherine, an Earth Elemental who sets out seeking freedom and discovers it in the most unexpected ways.

Spyral A coming-of-age tale in which a Rock Elemental chooses to defy the unjust traditions of her people. Setting out on a journey to save herself and the one she loves, she ends up embarking on a much more personal journey of self-discovery.

What Readers Are Saying

"My all-time favorite Christine E. Schulze novel, and now one of my all-time favorite novels...I'm grateful I got to read this amazing novel. Period."

Brad Sells, Goodreads

"Usually I'm not a big fan of short stories, I like full novels...But these were excellent stories. They were all descriptive, I don't feel like I've missed out on not having a separate book for each one."

Lacey, Goodreads

"I felt like I was a part of the story, experiencing the wonder and awe of each new discovery along with the characters in the stories. I can't wait to see what new and exciting adventure author Christine Schulze can come up with next."

Susan, Goodreads

"Loved it, Loved it, Loved it!!!"

Pyxipyro, Goodreads

About the Author: Christine E. Schulze has been living in castles, exploring magical worlds, and creating fantastical romances and adventures since she was too young to even write of such stories. Her collection of YA, MG, and children's fantasy adventure books, The Amielian Legacy, is comprised of series and stand-alone books that can all be read separately but also weave together to create a single, amazing fantasy. One of her main aspirations for The Amielian Legacy is to create grand fantasy adventures with characters that connect with readers from many different backgrounds. She has always believed strongly in including diversity in her books; right now her focus is on including racial diversity and characters with developmental disabilities. The latter is inspired by Schulze working with adults with autism and other developmental disabilities at Trinity Services in Southern Illinois. She also donates 25% of all royalties to ALFA, a local charity that supports many of Trinity's programs. Some of her exciting ventures include the publication of her award-winning Bloodmaiden, as well as The Stregoni Sequence and The Chronicles of the Mira with Writers-Exchange in both paperback and electronic forms. Her published books for younger readers include In the Land of Giants, The Amazing K, and The Adventures of William the Brownie. Her most recent project includes the professional re-editing and remastering of two YA fantasy series, The Gailean Quartet and The Hero Chronicles, the latter of which will be released under the new name A Shadow Beyond Time. For this series, she has also brought an amazing new co-author onto her team, Kira Lerner, whom she has used many a time as her editor for other works.
