About the Book

The Lion Bird! is a children's picture book that shares the joy of being curious with imagination. In the story, the curiosity of a little girl named Emallma takes the reader along with her in her curious and wonderfully imagined dream! The story adventures, encourages and instigates the narrator Enzo's curiosity as well! He too gets very much curious and wants to find out by reading to explore the imagination of Emallma's curious mind. Emallma's incredible innate nature of being curious and imaginative, takes the reader on an exploration on an incredible and a beautiful adventure. The nature of Emallma's curious mind led to her broad sense of imagination that was the expression for believing. The objective of the story is to share the joy of enticement and wittiness of the unusual whimsical events in the story. Curiosity and imagination go hand in hand. Enzo is a young and curious boy and the narrator of the story. He was as curious as Emallma's character in the story. He is getting ready to having a good time being engaged in reading the story. Emallma initiated that process along with contributing her own sense of curiosity and imagination. Enzo's Picture book series and its enticing illustrations, places the emphasis on the notion of children's ability to adventure and utilize their sense of imagination with curiosity that instigates a passion for adventure. Imagination initiates and encourages the possibilities of wonderful things to come to be. It is an ability that a child posses with natural spontaneity and passion. This sense of creativity is a way for children to develop their own sense of independence to cope with what ever maybe that they may face. The story of The Lion Bird increases the curiosity and stimulates the mind and continually expands imagination in children. Children's sense of curiosity is a key element to open a dialogue that allows the space for the child's active mind to be engaged creatively. Imagination promotes the cognitive development of the child. Curiosity is a key element and of an importance for a child to be able to use as a skill. This skill is valuable for the child's learning processes. It contributes to the child's emotional and social well being. It is imperative to place an emphasis on the importance of curiosity. Curiosity is an important innate ability of the child to have and to develop. It is important to prepare the environment that allows the space for this significant nature to flourish and not to stifle. Emallma's naturally gifted curiosity encouraged her sense of imagination. Her imagination brought about the events to unfold in the story of The Lion Bird. She was experiencing a wonderful time while have the space to imagination. The Lion Bird story may have had magical abilities or the sense of the imagination that helped Emallma to achieve accordingly. The story is inspirational to all young readers. Encouraging the innate curiosity and imagination of a child is an integral part for their healthy development that lacks criticism. This skill is important to the inner sense of security for the child that will remain with the child to become a centered and successful adult. Curiosity is a given gift that needs to be cherished and encouraged! The Lion bird!, is full of imaginative adventures that which explores the not imagined. Imagination and curiosity are the abilities to develop and form stories and images with desired outcomes. A happy ending for a whimsical story is what Emallma achieved. The story is absolutely whimsical! The story is informative and educational. Children will naturally relate to the story. The information is drawn and presented based on concrete knowledge and learning processes.
About the Author: The Lion Bird is the sixth book published in the Enzo's picture book series. The author's most recent publications are, Pittrice Nonna! The Mysterious Rock!, Tubby Tub-Tub! The Turkey That Stole Our Hearts, Osanna Rosa has worked with young children in different settings. Osanna Rosa is also the author and creator of several children's picture books. She created the following picture book series: Bella Bear, Emem Bear, Bello Enzo Bear books, The Family picture book series, The Fairy Tale book series and Enzo's picture book series. Bella Bear series is the author's first children's picture book collection. Osanna has earned a BA in History/ Philosophy from UCLA; and a MA in Education Curriculum, Teaching & Learning from Sonoma State University.
