LISTEN! provides a platform to give teenagers a voice where they can be heard and
understood. Its purpose is to break down the stigma of silence and support individuals in
overcoming personal challenges. The book highlights topics such as school pressure, body
image, bullying, friendships, jealousy, disorders, disabilities, studying and distance
learning, to name a few. Throughout this emotional rollercoaster, you will find yourself fully
absorbed and connected. The stories and personal challenges put forward by these brave
teens will hopefully encourage you to empathise and reflect on your own challenges and
experiences. In addition, through the skills of the CMB Wellbeing Warrior programmes, the
book will equip you, the reader, with a range of ideas and resources that will support you
and others through challenging times.
This is a perfect read for students, parents and those who work with teenagers.
