Inspiration: The inspiration for this book, is to share with all students of Reiki, especially those who's lives I have personally touched, the fullest form of Reiki's true nature in a simplified text.
The fullness of Reiki, is the fullness of life's ability to heal and harmonize itself.
Simplification: There are so many ways in which we can use the mind to intellectualize life, to make it more complex. Yet the Universal Power of Healing, has patterns we can learn simply. The ancient masters have already cleared many paths to healing. We don't need to solve life's mysteries, all we need to do is follow the path and listen to our inner voice, our intuition. The body is self-healing, the mind is self-healing, and the soul is healing itself. We simply have to choose wisely, the paths we walk. Naturally, when we choose the path of healing humbly, everything we need for healing will appear along the path.
Intention: The intention of this book, is to provide a framework for all levels of Reiki Students to reach the highest levels of energy healing arts. This requires devotion, humility, wisdom, and intuition. We must hone all our abilities, in order to uncover our energetic healing powers.
Why Blue?: The color blue holds significance in several spiritual lineages worldwide. In Eastern Asia, the color blue is the color of the "Medicine Buddha", who is the Buddha (awakened one) of all forms of healing. In Israel, the color blue is the color of the Archangel Michael, the angel of the fire/light element, protection, warriors, heroes and destruction of evil. In many multicultural forms of Shamanism, the color blue represents the elements of water and sky, the balancing of feminine elements of water, and masculine elements of air. The color blue in Western Psychology, is proven to be very relaxing to observe.
Why you?: The world needs Reiki now more than ever. The healing of life upon Earth, including Mother Earth herself, begins with each and every individual. Just like a leaf is a part of a tree, so too are we a part of the whole organism of life. We are the hands of nature herself, and have the potential to be the perfect gardeners of this beautiful Mother Earth, if we choose to be in harmony with life.
