About the Book

These lyrics were all on scraps of paper hanging by clothespins off wires draped from hooks behind my head. I used them to improvise from when playing instruments I had made. I was scheduled to perform September 24, 2017 and felt I needed some help creating a great performance. This book is it. (The performance was done and I added a few lyrics I'd found on tape that had never been written down. Song of Sissy in particular. It is written here as it was performed for a recording, so it's format reflects how it was performed, not particularly as would make it a poem.) Of issues about the performance I can say 30 minutes of stage time was not enough with set up and load out. That I had no working monitors meant I couldn't hear what I was doing which forced me to simply give up playing my instruments and just sing.
About the Author: At the time of the writing of this book of lyrics to help Scott Day perform in Carrboro, September 24, 2017 at 4 PM, on Weaver St. by the vacant lot on a porch Mr. Day is 64. Mr. Day was born in White Plains New York to dramatic parents. Edward Ray Day had been working for CBS as a stage manager for early teleplays. At least Scott Day, believes so. Edward Ray Day was the first man in his family to go to college. He had been a combat soldier participating in the latter part of the Battle of the Bulge. His aspiration was to be a playwright & fiction writer. Ray Day was a real part of the Hardin Craig Community Theater movement throughout his life. He taught Speech and Drama at Iowa State, where he met Scott Day's mother whose father Russell Peregrine White had been the Team Leader for the development of the Norden Bombsight, and VP for Revere Cooking Ware, as well as apparently freelancing as an Efficiency Expert. Scott Day was very influenced by Robert Francis White the Naval Officer who spent 4 years in the South Pacific Theater, returned to a wife who had been having an affair with his best friend. He didn't strangle her because he said he could not kill the mother of his children. He became a Stain Glass artist. The etchings he created when "nervous from the service" were works of art Scott Day lived with for much of his youth and even adulthood. Mr. Russell Scott Day, Scott Day, as a performer, works to prevent the apocalyptic riot. He requires the currency of fame to accomplish the founding of a nation of airports: Transcendia. Scott Day has had a typically varied work history for a good number of writers. He went to Canada before his lottery number came up anticipating the potential of having to. He ended up as Security for the historic experimental college, Rochdale College Toronto. There he learned for certain that there are luxury enemies and real enemies. He learned that barbarians steal what they want, and the civilized work for what they want. His primary two real careers were in Aviation Ground Services & Motion Picture & Television production. He ran a grip truck in Manhattan for 3 and a half years till the producers lockout put him out of business. He has done stand-up till offered a job he ought have taken. He did an off Broadway lead. He now pursues mastery of economics and finance. He wants to give a speech in NY about the reinvention of the UN, and Transcendia his model nation of airports. As of August 21, 2017, booked.
