Nicht anders ergeht es Bernhard, ihrem Sohn und SS-Offizier, Waltraud, der Arbeitsmaid, und Bogdan, dem Ostarbeiter. Die Führerin Hedwig will in einer epochalen Rede einen strategischen Wechsel in der Politik der Nationalsozialisten ankündigen, wird dabei von den Ereignissen überrollt. Das spannende und brandaktuelle Buch stellt die Lebensentwürfe jedes Einzelnen in Frage. Wo die Grenzen legitimierter Macht aufhören und Machtmissbrauch anfängt, da entstehen immerwährende Fragen. Im Lichte aktueller gesellschaftlicher Entwicklungen sind sie von jedem Einzelnen immer wieder neu zu beantworten.
About the Author: Torunn Siegler, geboren 1967 in Schweden, ist Marketingmanagerin und lebt in der Nähe von München. Ihre Familiengeschichte ist geprägt durch die Vertreibung im Zweiten Weltkrieg. Durch ihre Arbeit in Großkonzernen sah sie sich auch beruflich mit Macht und Ohnmacht konfrontiert. Ihre Erfahrungen verdichtet sie in einem brandaktuellen postfaktischen Gesellschaftsroman.
