About the Book

My novels are meant to be personalized. Frameworks are established, leaving room for the reader to improvise how situations are handled further. It's a lot more fun to be in character and imagine all the details involved, for example, a battle scene or a crisis. The protagonist's thoughts and emotions are restrained due to imaging which is a process of imaging.
About the Author: M. Therese Casey Tseng was born in Windsor, Canada, an automobile-manufacturing city coupled with Hiram Walker. Her large French Canadian family eventually moved to Georgetown, Ontario where she graduated from Georgetown High School. Before moving off on her own to Montreal, she and her brother Wayne hitchhiked out West for the summer where they met draft dodgers who crossed over to avoid conscription to Vietnam. It was also the year when Prime Minister Trudeau encouraged the opening of youth hostels all over Canada. "There were thousands of youth on the roads traveling for various reasons," she said, "including many Europeans and that's another book in the making." Longing to see the other half of the country, she bought a Yamaha 250 motorcycle and took the road alone to the Atlantic Provinces. "The atmosphere was different" she says, "most of the American youth were university students from the New Jersey." She also met a group of California teenage cyclists who also traveled by train across the continent. Their guides were two male adults who told her the teens were from wealthy families in Hollywood. "They were rather shy so I struck up a conversation with them by offering sticks of gum. They certainly had interesting backgrounds." Therese later moved to the USA, where she worked as a general manager and medical assistant in a surgical office for several years before changing careers as a high school French teacher. Therese, aka M Theresa Tseng now writes science fiction novels in Hawaii. Many of her themes reflect Hawaiian names and sports.
