About the Book

As a retiree, Daniel Magnum experienced a culture shock when he returned to the Philippines. His hometown had prospered with more people, new businesses, new buildings and better landscapes. Most of his friends had passed away. Dan thought that his retirement would be as calm as it could be. He found himself to be hired by his cousin, the City Mayor and experienced different adventures in his life. In his very own community, as a masqueraded Circuit Breaker, he caught a church thief. In his other cousin's faraway ranch community, he caught several cattle rustlers. Dan's job as his cousin's Personal Security Assistant made him solved ambuscades perpetrated by bad men in a different municipality then followed by dealings with a stupid evil boss. He fought and won against the bad guys in a tavern in his city. Dan met another cousin who was about to pay a gang's meal but was subdued on time. He solved a case where bad elements had a fraudulent motive of deception through fake minerals. Magnum was confronted with several ignorant men for a get-rich-scheme. He overcame their wrong ideals. He stopped the modus operandi of a gang in a market place. He saw some action in fighting the bank robbers in his own bank. He won. He solved the crime of his other cousin's patriotic business. He fought hard and won with the government military over a rebel group headed by an astute businessman. As usual, by the request of his cousin, the City Mayor, he was able to discover and won his fight over this fake military checkpoints. He brought them to justice. Daniel Magnum continued his undertakings when he was loaned to another City to settle a difficult drug problem, masquerading as the Circuit Breaker. Dan pretended to be an employee and masqueraded as the Circuit Breaker to save the lives of his community from poisoning their drinking water system. He was sent to another City to settle their daily electric brown-out problem, again as the Circuit Breaker. He was sent to another far-flung City to explore the possibilities of solving a rebel problem. His community was beset with this scary myth which scared the wits out of his people. As the Circuit Breaker, he solved the case. Dan solved the case of a humble threatened worker. Upon the request of his cousin, he overcame the motive of the bad guys in the kidnapping and selling of babies, as the Circuit Breaker. Dan fought the bad guys and their leader from the owner of a circus. Dan was the Circuit breaker when he fought the men who pretended to have discovered diamond's from somebody else's farm property. He solved his brother's case in Illinois, U.S.A. when his brother and his co-employees were accused of robbery. Dan, as he masqueraded as the Circuit Breaker, solved a syndicate problem in the International Airport in Manila, Philippines. He fought as the Circuit Breaker against a gang that was involved in illegal gambling in his City's First Tennis Open Championship. He went to Ontario, Canada to see his sister for a vacation when he encountered a set of bad guys who are experts in blackmail. He won over them.
