About the Book

Jessica Harper, a young woman without morals decides she would like to kill a lot of people indiscriminately. She's seen all the cop shows and realizes that the police always search for motives, opportunity and patterns in their attempt to capture serial killers. She is aware of profilers and what they do to paint a picture of a serial killer. As she wants to be the best serial killer ever, she decides she needs to develop a plan, a manifesto that will be perfected after the first 10 or so killings. To achieve this and escape capture, she invents a computer application that will totally randomize all aspects of the murder factors. Press a button and the app will decide where she kills, what type of person she kills, how she kills and even determines the character and appearance that the murderer should adopt each time! Naturally the police in various locations around Australia treat each murder as an isolated incident or even as death by misadventure in some cases. Until Inspector Rob Franklin and Detective Sergeant Leanne Wilson investigate a murder in Leanne's hometown of Goondiwindi. It seems to be a isolated murder but on closer inspection, they become suspicious that this murder is too perfect! They research recent murders with the same degree of perfection elsewhere in the State, and then the whole of Australia, and find that the numbers of similar murders are in excess of 20 deaths! Follow Jessica Harper as she murders her way across Australia, while Inspector Franklin and his partner continue their search for the greatest serial killer in history!
About the Author: About Brian Parkin My early life was in a coal mining village called Easington Colliery in County Durham, England. I joined the Royal Air Force at age 16 years to avoid having to work down the mines, steelworks or shipyards. My 24 years in the RAF was fairly uneventful, other than having the opportunity to travel the world to far flung places such as, the Falkland Islands, Hong Kong, Newfoundland, Cyprus, Senegal and Ceylon, as it was known then. I did serve in the Oman during the first Gulf War in 1991. I became interested in photography during this period but hardly any of my earlier photos have survived over the years. In 1991, I emigrated to Brisbane, Australia, where I was employed initially as an environmental health officer and later as a senior policy officer for several state governments. I retired early at the age of 59 in 2010. I took up photography, mainly concentrating on wildlife photography and pet portraits. I'm married to a wonderful lady called Ivanka, who has kept me on the straight and narrow for the last 11 years. About two or three years ago, I started writing photography articles for eZine and more recently eBooks for Photography Talk. I put together an eBook about lighting diagrams for the portrait studio which continues to sell remarkably well on Amazon Kindle. My wildlife photo experiences around the Lake at Forest Lake has also been published on Amazon Kindle. I have recently finished writing my first thriller novel called Deadly Inheritance about ricin poisoning, which I enjoyed immensely. I have just started the second novel featuring the same hero, Dave Pritchard. I have started a thriller series dealing with food poisoning outbreaks involving a catering company. The hero is a food safety adviser and friend of the catering company manager.
