About the Book

About the Author

Shirish N Daftary has a rich experience of more than three decades as a teacher and clinical practitioner of obstetrics and gynaecology. Dr Daftary has earlier served as Dean, Nowrosjee Wadia Maternity Hospital, Mumbai, Maharashtra; President, Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecological Societies of India; President, Bombay Obstetric and Gynaecological Society; and Chairman, Indian College of Maternal and Child Health. He has to his credit the publication of several scientific papers and books on the subject of obstetrics and gynaecology.

Sudip Chakravarti is currently working as Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Vivekananda Institute of Medical Sciences, University of Kolkata. He is the former President of Bengal Obstetric and Gynaecological society and Vice President of Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India (FOGSI).

Muralidhar V Pai is currently working as Professor and Head of Unit, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, Manipal University. He is the former Head of the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Melaka Manipal Medical College, Melaka, Malaysia. He is also the former National Corresponding Editor of Indian Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology and former Chairman of FOGSI Public Awareness Committee.

Prahlad Khustagi is working as Professor in Obstetrics-Gynecology, Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, a constituent unit of Manipal University. He has set up Academic Departments in University Medical Colleges in Nepal and Saudi Arabia; Clinical–Academic Units of Obstetrics-Gynecology at the Udupi Campus of Kasturba Medical College in India; Al-Ahsa King Faisal University, Saudi Arabia; and Urogynaecology Services at University Teaching Hospital in Al-Ahsa, Saudi Arabia. He is Editor for the book Medical Disorders in Pregnancy—An Update. He is Fellow of: Indian College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (2007); International Union Against Cancer, UICC (1993); Academy of General Education, Manipal (1988); Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, London (1982); College of Chest Physicians, India Chapter (1982); Royal Society of Health, London (1982).

    A Thrilling But Totally Believable Murder Mystery

    Read this in one evening. I had planned to do other things with my day, but it was impossible to put down. Every time I tried, I was drawn back to it in less than 5 minutes. I sobbed my eyes out the entire last 100 pages. Highly recommend!
