About the Author: Gianluca Grechi è nato a Milano, dove si è laureato in Economia e Commercio all'Università Bocconi. Dopo una breve esperienza di lavoro ha conseguito un MBA alla University of California di Berkeley. Rientrato in Italia, ha lavorato prevalentemente nel settore editoriale, focalizzandosi su tecnologia e new media (RCS, Class Editore, Italia Online (gruppo Olivetti), Seat Pagine Gialle). Nel 1999 si è trasferita a San Francisco (California) per conto di una società internet italiana (Vitaminic) e successivamente ha avviato una società di consulenza alla quale ho affiancato l'attività di corrispondente per varie testate italiane, occupandosi di tecnologia e internet. "Marcus Whilsby e il mistero di Haltonbridge" è il primo di una serie di racconti che vedono come protagonista un ragazzo di undici anni dotato di un eccezionale talento per la matematica. Con questo racconto ha vinto il torneo di scrittura di IoScrittore 2013 organizzato dal gruppo editoriale GEMS.
