She was married to the late Henry Lee Collier for nearly four decades; she is the mother of six, a retired healthcare professional, and the former spokesperson and founder of Citizens Against the Rebel Flag Hanging in Public Places. This organization copyrighted the first rebel flag protest t-shirt in U.S. history, and produced a historical U.S. 1860-1861 Map, which is a placemat and a learning resource for people of all ages. Collier is the general partner and co-founder of Mose Dantzler Press mosedpress.com which published her memoir and the Spanish edition "Casada al Pecado." Meredith Coleman McGee is the co-author of "Married to Sin" and the Spanish translation of the memoir: "Casada al Pacado."
