About the Book

English summary: This volume, containing the letters written by Max Weber in 1913 and 1914, is a follow-up to the previous volumes of the edition of letters . It presents Weber's statements on the Grundriss der Sozialoekonomik and his work on Economy and Society as well as his confrontation with the subculture of Ascona and his support of Frieda Gross after her husband Otto Gross was put under custody and declared mentally incompetent. Gregor Schollgen in Suddeutsche Zeitung vom 5.2.1999, S. 14
