About the Book

A self-help reference book, 'Maybe You CAN do it Yourself' covers a few basic things the average person can do on their own to keep their computers running, what you should not attempt yourself and what to look for in a computer company. If you have a computer and you feel intimidated by it; this book is for you. With easy to understand steps, this book will help make your computing environment less scary. But watch out! After reading this book you may have to call yourself a geek too.
About the Author: Guy Dunn, a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, locally owns four territories of the Geeks on Call franchise; one of the fastest growing on-site computer support franchises in the United States. Initially covering the Philadelphia Metro area (including Main Line, Delaware County, Chester County and King of Prussia), Guy's franchise empire recently expanded to the New York City metro area. With this expansion, he now covers the 5 boroughs of New York City and surrounding counties, including some areas of New Jersey, bringing his total number of territories to 8-making him both the largest African American and 5th largest Geeks on Call franchise holder, nationwide. A self-proclaimed professional networker, Guy credits the success of his businesses to networking and branding, sharing his experiences and insight in a networking newsletter. With a readership of more than 1,000 this newsletter keeps local area professionals abreast of networking events in the Suburban Philadelphia area, and has spawned into a few offshoots. Specifically, an online monthly magazine entitled, "Guy's Networking Newsletter Biz and Tech Magazine" as well as two books entitled, " Networking For Business in Good and Bad Times" and "Maybe You CAN Do It Yourself-Quick Computer Fixes For The Non-Geek," a self-help reference manual to help people navigate some of their technical issues on their own. A husband and father of four, Guy Dunn resides in the Greater Philadelphia Area with his wife, Judi. An entrepreneurial spirit, Guy enjoys teaching others how to become more effective entrepreneurs while helping them grow professionally and individually. Guy is involved in the following organizations: Professional Referral Exchange, West Chester Chamber of Commerce, Women's Referral Network, and Phoenixville Chamber of Commerce.
