About the Author:

Andreas Hepp ist Professor für Kommunikations- und Medienwissenschaft am und Sprecher des ZeMKI (Zentrum für Medien-, Kommunikations- und Informationsforschung) der Universität Bremen. Zu seinen Forschungsschwerpunkten gehören u.a. Fragen der Mediennutzung und -aneignung, des Medien- und Kommunikationswandels, der tiefgreifenden Mediatisierung der Gesellschaft, der Datafizierung und der Automatisierung von Kommunikation.

Matthias Berg ist wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter in der Abteilung Digital Society Ecosystems am Fraunhofer-Institut für Experimentelles Software Engineering IESE in Kaiserslautern. Zu seinen Forschungsschwerpunkten gehören u.a. die Entwicklung und Erforschung intelligenter Softwaresysteme für ländliche Räume, kommunale Digitalisierung und die Zusammenhänge von digitalem und gesellschaftlichem Wandel.

Cindy Roitsch war wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am ZeMKI (Zentrum für Medien-, Kommunikations- und Informationsforschung) der Universität Bremen. Zu ihren Forschungsschwerpunkten gehören u.a. Medienwandel und digitale Medien sowie Fragen der Mediennutzung und -aneignung mit besonderem Fokus auf die Nichtnutzung und Grenzziehung durch Mediennutzende.
